Déterminants du refus de financement des petites et moyennes entreprises par la banque de gestion et de financement
(UB: FSE, 2022-12) Nsengiyumva, Remy; Sous la direction du : Pr. Prisca Niyuhire
The objective of our study is to identify the factors that explain the non-access of Small and Medium Enterprises to financing by the BGF. To provide some answers to our problem, we conducted a survey with the BGF, on a sample of 135 SMEs out of 210 that applied for credits during the 2017-2019 period. After performing a logit regression, the results obtained show that the major problems encountered by SMEs in accessing this financing are the non-existence of reliable guarantees and the non-moving account. We have suggested the creation of a guarantee fund by the State to support the need for financing of SMEs with banks, the reduction of guarantees required by banks to take into account the specificities of SMEs.
